Coaching Bipolar
Founded by Michel Le Roux
A life lived with perspective
Michel Le Roux does not speak about bipolar disorder from theory. He has lived with it for more than forty years, and for the past twenty six of those, he has built a stable and grounded life. That stability did not happen by chance. It came through experience, reflection, and learning what truly works over time. For the past six years, he has been sharing that learning as a coach, supporting others with a presence that is both calm and quietly energising.
Seeing the person, not the label
Michel’s work begins with a simple shift in perspective. A diagnosis may explain part of the story, but it never defines the whole person. He works with people who are navigating emotional intensity, moments of uncertainty, or a loss of direction, searching for a clearer sense of alignment in their lives. This is a space for those who want more than coping. It is for those who want to understand themselves and build something that feels both stable and meaningful.
Bridging personal and organisational change
What makes Michel’s approach distinct is its combination of lived experience and pragmatism. He does not offer abstract ideas or distant frameworks. He shares what has worked in real life and helps translate that into something that fits each individual. The work is tangible. It often comes down to setting clear goals, taking concrete steps, and building habits that support long term balance. At the same time, the space remains deeply human. There is no stigma, no need to perform, and no pressure to fit a predefined model. It is structured enough to move forward, and open enough to feel safe. Michel’s coaching is purpose driven. It is not about fixing or normalising. It is about helping you move in a direction that feels right for you.
Supporting the wider circle
Michel also works with partners, families and close relatives who want to better understand how to support someone living with bipolar disorder. These conversations help create stronger, more empathetic relationships. They bring clarity, reduce tension, and make space for a more supportive dynamic to grow.
Part of something bigger
Michel is co founder of Bipolar & Belong, alongside Nathalie MacCarthy. Together, they are building a movement that brings bipolar lived experience into the open. Their work focuses on reducing stigma, creating spaces of belonging, and encouraging a more inclusive understanding of neurodiversity. Through the Box of Belonging, these conversations also reach organisations, helping teams engage with mental health in a more real and grounded way.
Bridging personal and organisational change
Within Synarchy, Michel brings a perspective that connects individual journeys with broader transformation. His work supports people alongside organisational change, adding depth to conversations around mental health and inclusion. It helps ensure that these topics are not only discussed, but genuinely understood and lived.
Where it begins
It starts with a conversation. The first session offers space to pause, reflect, and explore what you need. There is no pressure, only an opportunity to see if this feels like the right step. From there, the path unfolds in a way that respects your rhythm. Living with bipolar disorder does not define you. Yet understanding your experience, and taking purposeful action from that place, can become the foundation for a life that is stable, meaningful, and truly your own.
