About Synarchy

A foundation for collaborative impact

Synarchy is a Holland-based foundation built around a simple belief: meaningful change happens when people with different strengths are able to find one another, think together, and build something that lasts.

What began as a shared experiment in generosity has grown into a collaborative foundation for social innovation. From the start, Synarchy was never meant to be just one founder’s practice or one fixed type of service. It was created as a structure that could hold multiple visions at once: inclusion, education, mental health, collaboration, research, practical support, and the many forms of impact that emerge when those worlds are allowed to meet.

At the heart of Synarchy is the idea of the multiplier. We do not only look at what helps in one moment, for one person, or in one project. We look for what can be strengthened, shared, adapted and carried forward. Sometimes that becomes a workshop. Sometimes a research route, a toolkit, a learning format, a collaboration model, a platform idea, or a new initiative that would not have come into being otherwise. The aim is not simply to do good work, but to help good work travel.

That is also why Synarchy is built as a foundation. It gives us a public-benefit structure through which people, initiatives and organisations can connect around shared purpose. Some come to us with lived experience. Some with research expertise. Some with educational skill, strategic thinking, facilitation, coaching, governance knowledge or technical insight. Synarchy’s role is to help those strengths meet in ways that create real value for others.

Today, that value takes shape through a growing mix of collaborative initiatives, partner-led services and practical routes for organisations. Some focus on neuroinclusion and belonging. Some on human-centred AI, judgement and decision-making. Others centre on learning design, research, or educational development. What links them is not a single topic, but a shared way of working: collaborative, inclusive, thoughtful and designed to create more than a one-off result.

Alongside this work, Synarchy is also building something larger over time: a wider collective of experts, social entrepreneurs, educators, researchers and practitioners who can exchange time, knowledge and support in ways that strengthen each other’s impact. We call this growing network the Syniverse. It reflects a long-term ambition that sits behind the current website and projects alike: to make collaboration more accessible, more generous, and more structurally useful.

In that sense, Synarchy is both practical and aspirational. It helps people start real projects, shape useful services and develop stronger routes forward. But it also stands for something bigger: a world in which inclusion, reciprocity and shared expertise are not side notes, but the basis on which better systems are built.
